Clear Lake Marina Association An organization of 20 local marinas, yacht clubs and several other related organizations, who share information about the business of running a marina including sharing promotional ideas and information on legislative and legal topics plus efforts to keep the marine environment safe for boaters. Clear Lake Marine Law Enforcement Task Force A coalition of marine law enforcement officers from seven local cities, Galveston and Harris counties, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and the U.S. Coast Guard who share manpower, equipment, and scheduling to patrol Clear Lake and contiguous waters and promote safe boating. Clear Lake Racing Association The holds the Wednesday Night Sailboat races, held between April and October, which draws up to 60 boats in seven, One Design and Handicap Classes. The email contact is Buddy Brown at browngf@ghg.net

Gulf Coast Yacht Brokers Association (GCYBA) An organization of boat and yacht brokers who come together monthly to promote their industry. The Scow Scooner Project of the Galveston & Trinity Bay Marine Museum Mission: To explore the past, present and future of Galveston and Trinity Bay through the building and use of traditional small craft; to build a replica of the Gulf Coast Scow Schooner as a focal point, interest, attraction and floating classroom. Seabrook Sailing Club The family oriented club on Galveston Bay is run entirely by its members who enjoy organized races, day sailing, the waterfront clubhouse, and the social events for all small boat sailors.
