Lakeside Sailing School and Houston Rowing Cub We are licensed captains with the uscg. we have all the boats listed on the internet and charter them either bareboat or with a captain. We have been here since 1988, the oldest around, over 20 years. In addition to the charters we are registered with the American Sailing Association and Texas Parks and Wildlife. We teach all the asa courses and these are also on the internet. the asa classes, once passed, allow one to charter worldwide. We take 3 trips annually. This year we are going to Lapaz, Belize and the BVI. Members and students go with us. We also teach and rent sunfish sailboats and also teach and rent windsurfing equipment. We have a membership club that offers unlimited use of the sunfish and windsurfing. We also have a sailing club where members can go sailing with us anytime. once they take the asa courses then discounts begin on the boat charters. Secondly, www.houstonrowing.com is our kayaking and rowing club. We offer lessons in kayaking and sculling. Once a member joins they get unlimited use of the equipment. We meet every evening at 6pm as well as saturdays and sundays at 8am and 10am. we have several camping trips during the year where we go kaykaing at various state parks.
