The Space Shuttle Discovery was  chosen by some of the shrimpers as an unofficial ship in the 2005 Blessing of the Fleet.  Discovery Commander Eileen Collins and the crew aboard space shuttle Discovery were preparing to bring the  "ship" back to earth the following morning.  Due to bad weather  in Florida and thoughts of Columbia in the back of our minds  we  prayed a little  longer. Finally Aug. 9,
2005 at 8:12 a.m.  Discovery Landed at  Edwards Air Force Base, CA. We exhaled!  Welcome home !
