Annual Kemah Fourth of July
Parade starts
at 9:45 am
Mayor Greg Collins and the Kemah City
Council invite you to Breeze into
Kemah for family fun and join us July 4th for the Annual Kemah Parade.
The Children's Bicycle Parade
starts at 9:45 a.m. at the Schoolhouse Museum Parking Lot on Bradford
Avenue at 6th Street. Children of all ages are welcome to
decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers, (children are not permitted on
motorized vehicles) and parade down Bradford to 6th Street to Kipp,
Kipp to 8th, 8th to Bradford and back to the Schoolhouse Museum
Parking Lot on Bradford. Goodie bags will be given out to
participants of the Children's Parade while supplies last.
The Main Parade with antique cars,
fire engines and floats will start at 10:00 a.m. Individuals,
groups and businesses are encouraged to decorate a float. No
registration is required.
Just want to watch? Bring a chair
and pick a spot on Bradford, 4th Street, along Kipp or 9th Street and
you are sure to have a front row seat.

holding a very large benefit on July 19th to raise money for
Equusearch. That is the organization that provides local manpower
to
search for missing persons. You may have recently seen them on
television as they searched for the two children in Pasadena.
That
particular search wiped out the remainder of their budget, so All Stars Sports Bar & Grill thru it's
Eagles Wings Charitable Fund
are hosting an "emergency" benefit
for them on the 19th. There is a huge live auction, free food, live
music, etc. Kemah.Net is a proud supporter of Equusearch and we hope
you will all go out and make this benefit to raise money for Equusearch
